Notes:
1) G.C. Coterie, Inc.'s gasification power plant will initially be configured to run on waste wood chips. The company will acquire the equipment necessary to produce and transport its own supply of wood chips.
2) G.C. Coterie, Inc.'s gasification power plant will provide 100% of the energy required to heat and power the Bio-Center facilities, plus produce surplus electrical energy for sale to the power grid. Wood gasification is a clean, very low emission process that will also enable us to improve air quality in the local area by displacing an equal amount of dirty fossil fuel and/or nuclear energy production. Fuel for the plant will come from waste wood chips.
3) Pyrolysis, wood gasification and the manufacture of chemicals from synthesis gas to replace petroleum derived chemicals are all newly emerging technologies. New technologies are becoming available to convert these gases into ethanol as well.
