Graphic : Research Flowchart #2 - G.C. Coterie, Inc.

Notes:

1) Ninety percent of the world's ocean's bounty has been depleted. Also, clean water resources are becoming increasingly scarce. High-intensity recirculating aquaculture is the only viable solution to these issues in order to ensure the continued availability of fish protein for feeding humanity. This is a newly emerging technology.

2) The USA has been very slow to implement hydroponic farming practices. Also, the new field of aquaponics, which has proven viability, is still in its infancy.

3) Aquaculture feeds must not contain fish meal harvested from wild fish populations as an ingredient if aquaculture is to be a sustainable enterprise. G.C. Coterie, Inc. will not use fish meal in its aquaculture feed formulation.

4) Farmers in the USA cannot currently compete effectively against foreign imports of Tilapia and other fish products. An fully-integrated approach to aquaculture is required to reduce the overall costs of production in order to compete. G.C.Coterie, Inc.'s high-capacity, vertically-integrated operation will allow it to compete successfully against foreign imports.
