G.C. Coterie, Inc. Proposes Loudon County Industrial Site

Loudon County, TN is Potential Beneficiary of New Bio-Center Project

Media Release : April 10, 2007 - G.C. Coterie, Inc. announced today that it has submitted a proposal to purchase a large 100+ acre site in the Sugarlimb Industrial Park located in Loudon County, Tennessee for its new Bio-Center project. The details of the proposal are not being disclosed at this time, but the Company does plan to make them public once local officials have had an opportunity to review the proposal first, and any early round modifications or negotiations have been completed.

The company's proposal will be reviewed first by the Loudon County Economic Development Agency and its Board of Directors. “Once they have a good feel for our project and the economic impact that it will have on the local area, we certainly anticipate their recommendation to the City of Loudon and County of Loudon for approval of the sale,” said Jeff McCarroll, Executive Director of G.C. Coterie, Inc. “This particular site has gone unsold for more than 20 years and needs to be developed to generate a return in terms of public benefit. That is why the park was built to begin with. It is a good site for the right buyer, but in twenty years a serious buyer just hasn't come along that was prepared to develop the property - until now. This site happens to fit our needs very well. Plus, we are a low impact user, meaning that local environmental concerns over air and water quality issues won't be exacerbated by our project. In fact, we expect our project, as well as some of the research we plan to do, will actually help to improve those problems. The community should love us for that.”
