New Bio-Center Site Under Option : Plans Moving Ahead
Media Release : October 9, 2007 - After months of searching for the best available site to build its new R&D Bio-Center on, G.C. Coterie, Inc. announced today that 160 acres in Monroe County, Tennessee have been placed under option for the project. “We looked at several other sites in Kentucky, Alabama and Louisiana, but we really wanted to make this project's home in East Tennessee,” said the company's Executive Director, J. Wayne McCarroll. "Siting the project was a bit of a difficult process, though. In the end, it was several of our friends and neighbors, who really wanted to make sure we kept the project here, that helped us put the land package together. Speaking for myself, I couldn't be more pleased to have such a wonderful site available for the project in beautiful East Tennessee.”
Specific details regarding the location will be announced soon. The company will also be announcing more details regarding its expanded scope of operations in the coming weeks.
In other news, G.C. Coterie, Inc. also announced today that it has reached an agreement in principal with a celebrity spokesperson to help promote the company, its work and its products, and its Christian ideals. “That contract is still in the process of being drafted,” explained Mr. McCarroll, “but I can say that this relationship is going to be a major asset to the company. We are all very excited about the prospects of working with this individual. It's a great shot in the arm. However, we will not be releasing details regarding the spokesperson's identity until sometime after the first of the year.”
